WCSS aka ILD Teleservices Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire, ..The Classic Bait-And-Switch ripoff *UPDATE ..hide behind the skirts of ILD
ILD Teleservices called me one night to make what seemed to be a great offer - $0.049 per minute for long distance, PLUS a $50 check to switch. In a weak moment, I agreed to switch to using them, including my local toll calls. Shame on me for my own greed. Instead of my average previous bill of around $100, I started getting bills of $150-$250 per month! It took me 2 months to get around to reading the charges - not only was I being charged $0.20 cents for long distance, double what I was paying with MCI, but they were charging the same rate for local toll calls! They lie, lie, and lie. They did nothing they said they would - I got no cheap long distance and no check. I gratefully switched back to the reviled Verizon, who offered me a rate of $0.08 per minute or a flat rate of $17.78 per month. I am still deciding who to switch to for long distance, but picking a name out of a hat would be better than dealing with these lying sacks of excrement!

After I filed my original complaint above, I found out that the actual company ripping me off is not ILD Teleservices (they do the billing, although I don't know how complicit they are) but a company called WCSS. These weasels hide behind the skirts of ILD.
