Complaint Review: WDC

I had searched for a grant to help start my business. I went to the govgrantsite and filled out application. Next day I915 h get a call saying they had a grant for me personally to use however I wanted and didnt have to pay back. Wow I said that would be great. Next thing I know he said I would have to drive to Washington if I wanted the check. Well I said that wont work I cant get there. Next he said I needed to go to Walmart and wire me 404.00 and once they had it and that they it was me by sending the moneygram. I dont have a checking account. Well I didnt have the 404.00 so when I got paid I called again. Getting someones hopes up is really bad but I learned a vaulable lesson. I had my son talk to him and he said to him because I so nice thats why I am getting the grant. Thanks to my son I didnt lose my money but did want to report.
