Telemarketing Scam, faulty computer software, hidden costs, lousy customer service, refused refund of program, unprofessional, told they had real clients to service and not people who don't know what they are doing - I paid over $6,000 for the program KANSAS CITY , LINDON Missouri, Utah I was contacted in the middle of May 2006, by Kaleb, who proceeded to talk to me about an Auction for Income program. He asked me several questions concerning my financial status and asked if I would like to make oover $20,000 a month. I'm a Disabled Veteran from the Iraqi War. I was medically discharged with 90% disability back in July 2005. I am unable to get a real paying job due to my disabilities and thought this was a good opportunity to be self employed at home. After telling Kaleb this he proceeded to explain everything to me. He told me I was a "perfect candidate." I spent 15 years in the U.S. Army and so I was use to a structured life. I wasn't use to civilian life and was still adjusting to it along with my disabilities. Knowing I can't live off of Disabiity alone I was pretty much desperate to bring in more income. Kaleb picked up on this but I ignored the hint I got from his tone. After paying over $6,000 Kaleb told me that I will recieve AuctionPI software and an email with my coaches name on it. The software was faulty. Wouldn't even load up on my computer. I went through 2 coaching sessions and wasn't told anything I didnt already know about business. I was told by my Coach that I would have to pay for my Business License as well as the Drop ship warehousing costs and any additional costs thereafter. I was also charged seperately for web hosting for my website which I was unable to setup and couldn't get any assistance for it. Due to my injuries I was in and out of the hospital for several months and ultimately decided to just request a refund. I was given the run around and could never get a straight answer. I was ignorant to what was really going on. I did talk to Mr. Varone after 3 weeks of trying to get a refund and I was told that I had to PROVE my situation to them. Even though I was irritated I decided to show proof. I faxed them a letter from the Army as well as my Disability paperwork from the VA. One week went by and heard nothing from them. I called back and they claimed they never got the faxes. Mr. Varone put me in touch with Amy who continued to give me the runaround about the refund. I called the next day once again and was put on hold for 2 hours, and then they hung up. Now I cant get a hold of anybody. I was told about this site from a friend and thought I would see what it is about. I found exactly what I was looking for in an article about Wealth Information Network. Unfortunately I found it too late. Now I am not sure what to do about getting my refund so I figured I would post my situation on here in hopes someone would be able to inform me on what I should do.
