This company Wealth Wonks, LLC is the most unproffessional company that I have ever dealt with. I have invested thousands of my hard earned dollars and I was TOTALLY mislead. I will take further action against this man Mitchell B. Yellen, so called CEO that lies and steals hard working people's money. If you google them you will see that they already had a lawsuit that was initiated against them in 2008 by another unsatisfied client by the name of Ron Hillestad. I am speaking with my lawyer now to pursue further action. I will contact all of his clients and tell them to report this man and this company. This company is a total SCAM.

I have spent so much money on this company. It is always the SAME person that picks up the phone every time I call and it sounds like they are running a scam out of their apartment. Please stay clear of this company. Total scam. They lie and say that they will help you with your finances instead they have cost me more money by soliciting my contact info to different companies that I don't want to deal with. I will report this fake company and expose them so that they do NOT take anyone elses money.

I will report WEALTH WONKS, LLC to EVERYONE that I know that this company is a total scam and their CEO Mitchell B. Yellen is a total fake fraud.They will not even give me my money back. They are such a bad company, please stay clear and save your money. It was a total waste and inconvenience for me. I will be keeping updates and letting you guys know what happens next.

RON HILLESTAD IS A LIAR

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Ron, its's interesting to me how you conviently left out that i was the banker lending you and millie three million dollars when you were turned down by 15 other banks. Also how i started funding you money 15 days after i meet you guys. THE AGREEMENT WAS AS I STARTED FUNDING you gave your word that you would suborinate the land to us so the investors putting up the capital would be secure with the first deed of trust. Eight weeks passed and we advanced you 1.3 million dollars and you still didnt produce the deed of trust. You lied repeadly and gave one excuse after another and still you never produced the deed. At that point i started to see what A real SLEAZE YOU WERE. In addition you forgot to mention that YOU LOCKED ME OUT OF THE PROPERTY AND HAD YOUR ATTOURNEY SEND ME A LETTER WHICH I STILL HAVE IN MY POSSESSION that  SAID I QUOTE "MR YELLEN YOU ARE NOT A PARTNER YOU ARE JUST A BANKER. WE ARE GOING TO PAY YOU OFF." At this point you and millie were the ones stealing the company from me and my investors. My investors said lets get rid of these guys and take the payoff and move on. After 15 months of being locked out of my property by a restraing order you called me up because you and Millie still couldnt get a bank loan to pay me off so we forclosed on you. When i finally walked onto the property i walked into 1.5 million of mechanic leins on the propertty that you yes you left behind to stiff 27 small business owners who loathed you and millie. It took me a year to clean up your mess. At this point you decided to throw a frivious lawsuit at me and accuse me of fraud. All of a sudden i go back to your attouneys letter which stated that i was not a partner but just a bank. Now all of a sudden when you realize you can"t get a bank loan i'm your partner. How convienent. Fortunatly judge David Prince saw right through you and without me putting up any witnesses or evidence he threw the whole thing out. I thought it might be interesting to our readers to make mention that 4 days before the trial i meet with you and a christian mediator and offered you 400,000 because i didnt want you to lose any money. You turned me DOWN COLD and said "your going for the whole thing." Your greed and stupidy got in the way. Four days after the trial you send me a letter with your address asking me to now send you the 400,000. I've been in business for 30 years and i run 5 companies but in all my years of partnering and lending over 100 million dollars you Ron get the cake for being the bigggest idiot i have ever meet. To our readers please know there is always 2 sides to every story, and i hope you can see the whole pictue now. Please dont hesitate to call me if you have any  questions. My clientele includes hall of famers Pat Boone and Rick Barry and they like many others will verify that i am a man of integrity and i always put my clients first.  God BLESS, Mitchell Yellen   (((ROR redacted)))

Pat BooneLegend and Hall Of Famer, Singer, Actor and Writer:

 I met Mitch Yellen some 5 years ago, we met on a business meeting.

I was so impressed, he is a messianic believer, that is, hes a Jew who like so many of us, believe that Jesus is the fulfillment of all the messianic prophecies.  (I) met his wife, met his kids, and learned about his business. I became very impressed with him and my wife, who has a character radar, and people I might be sold on she might not be, but we both have been sold on Mitch Yellens character and his integrity for at least 5 years. I have made serious large investments, large for us, in real estate, insurance and other things that we believe in, but mainly because we believe in Mitch.

Rick Barry: NBA Legend and Hall of Famer:

Ive known Mitchell Yellen now for a number of years. We met through our sons playing tennis together through the high school team. And after getting to know Mitch I have a great respect and admiration for him, hes a very honest person, a religious person and I trust him implicitly. I know that Mitch always has the interest of the client at heart first. Ive watched
this first hand and if anyone thinks different than that, does not know Mitch Yellen.

Brian Bahr: President/CEO Challenger Homes:

I think that [Mitch] is a high integrity person. I believe that he works for his clients and strives to do well by them.  Mitch and I have been involved in some real estate developments and construction projects that have gone exceptionally well. Mitch took a chance on me when I was a small business owner by investing a large amount of money into my business. He has invested
more than money and truly believed in me. I now own the number one building company in El Paso County.  I just find Mitch
to be very pleasurable to work with and just a good person.

Mitcell Yellen trying to "look" good

#6General Comment

Sun, July 11, 2010

Today July 11, 2010 I happened on this "story", my name is Ron Hillestad.  I was surprised to see all this made up stuff from Mitchell Yellen and his lawyer Mr James Zendejas.  Mitch has a problem because I was not the one who wrote the report. I was called by the gentleman from Florida, Richard telling me that he was going to do this scam report.  Also hear from many others that had got involved with Mitch who wanted to do something, but lost so much or they were still working to get some of their money out of Wealth Wonks,LLC.  Mitch is a good actor, should have stayed in California and continued his acting.  I did lost the lawsuit, his lawyer was too good and I thought that  I could trust Mitch's word.  To me I didn't think that I would have a problem in court, I owned the property and put up an million dollars (some borrowed from friends) and Mitch, Millie and I had a partnership. But Mitch had done these deals before and he had experience and a good lawyers so I lost in court on legal details.  The lawyer was correct, I sought to recover that what was claimed, my property and money back.  Why did he get the property and all my money from a partnership in a project that he only put up some of the money?  I still don't understand it to this day, common sense and legal courts don't always work together to find justice and what is right.  My concern is that everyone that comes in contact with Wealth Wonks or Mitchell Yellen will be very careful and use wisdom. Cell 719-660-1136.  Simple answer, do not take the chance.

Get the Whole Truth on Mitchell Yellen's Exhoneration

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Thu, July 01, 2010

Mitchell Yellen is an honest, decent and honorable individual and has served his clients faithfully for 25 years.  Mitchell Yellen two years ago was completely exhonerated when he won unanimously in a lawsuit where a group of individuals were trying to steal money from his clients and company.  As you can see from the letter writtten below from the attorneys we not only won a unanimous decision, but did not have to provide evidence or witnesses.  The case was thrown out. This was a complete victory.

The Truth About Mitchell Yellen and His Exoneration

#6REBUTTAL Individual responds

Thu, July 23, 2009

Greetings Richard (AKA Ron Hillestad),

It is unfortunate that you have chosen to try to deceive people by pretending to be a dissatisfied client from Miami, rather than someone who tried to steal millions from our company. Not only do I not have a client named Richard in Miami, I do not have one single client there! We both know, that you are indeed, Ron Hillestad. I am enclosing a letter from my attorney that informs the public of the results of the lawsuit you mentioned, and as you can see, the lawsuit was decided by an impartial judge totally in my favor. It was you who attempted to defraud me and my clients of our wealth and property. Your lawsuit proved to be deceitful and fraudulent, and you lost, you lost big. We won without having to put one witness on the stand. You are just another misguided individual who attempts to steal others money, and you failed. If anyone googles my name, they will see that I have an A listing with the Better Business Bureau, and numerous accolades from groups and individuals who have benefited from my expertise in wealth accumulation. I am sorry for you Ron, but, it is important that people not be misled by an unemployed, angry, disgruntled, misguided man. For further verification, please feel free to call me directly at 719-491-5551 or call my attorney, Jim Zendejas, at 719-635-4200.

Re: Thee Occasion Funding I, LLC v. Thee Occasion Wedding and Events Centers, Inc., et al

Dear Mitch:

I wanted to provide a summary of the dismissal of all the claims, against Wealth Wonks, Thee Occasion Funding, I, and you, personally, at "halftime" of the trial. As you recall, the case was tried to the Honorable Judge Prince over three days. The trial was quite contested, and Mr. Hillestad was able to present any evidence he wanted. Indeed, he even called Ms. Millie Carlton, and his former attorney, Mike Berniger. The Court reviewed in excess of 73 exhibits, and heard the testimony from 6 witnesses, 2 attorneys through admitted correspondence, and had the ability make a determination as to the credibility of the witnesses and exhibits. At trial, Hillestad sought recovery against Wealth Wonks, Thee Occasion, and you personally for the following claims:

1. Breach of Fiduciary Duty;
2. Breach of Contract;
3. Civil Theft;
4. Accounting; and
5. Fraud

Throughout the proceedings we had vehemently denied the allegations, and quite frankly tried to understand what the basis for Mr. Hillestad's claims. As you recall, we had taken the position that, after you had funded nearly $1.5 Million dollars, Hillestad refused to sign the remaining documents. to this end, his council sent you notice that he considered the "negotiations" to be at an impasse, and to stop funding. Hillestad did this even though you had funded the project in good faith, and he had refused to return any deed of trust for the project, or transfer it into a commonly held entity. Initially, we sought and obtained a deed of trust and promissory note for the amount expended.

Since it was a trial to the court, we had C.R.C.P. 41 as a weapon. After a party rested its case, this rule allows the court to weigh the evidence to see whether it has met its burden. Dismissal of under this rule is a rarity, and reserved only for those matters where the court is convinced that it need not hear any more evidence. As you recall, we had yet to call any defense witnesses, at that point, rather, our presentation had been limited to proof of the default under the note, and cross examination of Hillestad and his witnesses on Hillestad's claims. The court, before we had to put on defense evidence or exhibits, entered judgment in your favor on all claims asserted by Ron Hillestad. The court has not issued a final written order.

To say that it was a complete victory for you and your companies is an understatement: think about it, you did not have to present any evidence, or witnesses in your defense. I am happy to provide this summary to you, and would welcome any questions or comments.

Very truly yours,
M. James Zendejas
