                                                             MEMORANDUM

TO: Whom it may concern;

Fr.: Roland N. Patterson, Jr.,/s/

      Ray Sydnor and Associates;

Re.: “Web.com”;

This is to express my complaint and dissatisfaction regarding services rendered to Ray Sydnor and Associates (RSA) by a web-site design company known as “Web.com.” Web.com presents itself as a fee for services company doing business by way of television and internet advertisement. RSA is a sports advocacy organization existing on behalf of college alumni athletes. In turn, I am the business manager for RSA.

In or about January, 2014, RSA contacted Web.com about receiving a web-site. Both I and RSA-CEO Ray Sydnor were on the line. We spoke with Web.com Consultant Matthew Reed. Mr. Reed told us that the needs RSA presented were well within the abilities of his company. What is more, Mr. Reed told us that Web.com would not charge our credit-card until after RSA approval of draft Web.com work had been received. In effect, Mr. Reed told RSA that the work of Web.com was risk-free because the customer  retained a right to refuse the work on receipt and before payment.

The draft website was completed in early February, 2014. On review, RSA was displeased. We did not think that the web-site was of professional quality or worthy of compensation. We contacted Web.com and advised them of our rejection of the work. Mr. Sydnor handled that call.

In mid-February, 2014, I reviewed our account. I found that several unauthorized withdrawals had been made by Web.com. The withdrawals totalled $310.00. The overdraft fees created by the withdrawals totalled $120.00. And so $430.00 of RSA money was taken by Web.com for work that was rejected by RSA. This was done in violation of stated Web.com policy. In other words, RSA would not have retained the services of Web.com if not for the no-risk guarantee described above. We want our money back; all $430.00 of it. And we want prospective Web.com customers to be wary of our experience here and to use Web.com at your own risk.

I am available for your convenience at (((redacted phone number))) and at (((redacted email))). Thank-you for your time and consideration.
