I read the website https://webmarketingtool.com/  and got really excited. I need a service that does so much of what they "claim" to offer.

I attempted to get frank jones, the owner, on the phone with my boss. We used
Skype to talk and frank was late and unpreparied. Even after I had a prep conversation an hour earlier. After finally connecting on Skype, frank just shined off the entire conversation. Then Ken, my boss, suggested that frank set an appointment for Saturday. I made several calls to frank prior to call time so I could make sure he would be on time. While Ken waited, frank didn't answer any calls. After being about 30 minutes late, frank sent me a message saying he couldn't get on Zoom. By that time Ken opted out.

I convinced Ken that we needed the software and he decided to fund it even though the owner seemed so unresponsible.

I made the purchase and frank said that it was just the beginning of the relationship and we would be spending a lot of time on Skype doing screen sharing so he could make sure I could get the program working. He also said I would need tech support credits and I purchased $50 worth of those.

I made that purchase on Thursday then heard noting. On Monday, I sent a message to frank and he said it should be all set up. I couldn't find the login so he sent me a message telling me to go to the demo link. It still didn't work. He then sent me a message saying to go to the login link, that one worked.

We did a screen share and he showed me how to ge started with the page builder. He told me that his partner had made it easy to use. Nothing could be further from the truth, it has to be the most difficult page builder I have ever used. I've used some pretty bad ones and this made them look good.

After wasting a day trying go get a single capture page built, I sent frank a message saying that I need support and that the program sucks.

He contacte me on Skype the next morning and at first was ok...then he started getting impatient. Then he told me I needed to use tech support credits to get the work done that I needed. He went on to say that people spend thousands of dollars with him to get their sites set up in his system. I ask him if that's how the scheme works, get people in and up sell tech support.

At this point frank started getting really surly. I told him I want my money back, he refused. I got angry and said, "All I want is to be a happy f******* customer!" (expletive deleted) He said that because I cussed at him I don't deserve support. The anger on both sides escalated from there.

I asked frank how the tech support money is used, $50 per hour? $100, $500 he responded that he wouldn't answer that question.

Today, Wednesday, I sent him the Nordstrom tire story in the following text message:

Nordstrom refunded a man's tires after the wore out over normal usage time. The strange part is Nordstrom has never sold tires...they just put CUSTOMER SERVICE above everything else.

I judge a company by their customer service. The way I was treated yesterday at the BEGINNING of the relationship speaks VOLUMES about your company and product.

I haven't tried yet but if it other tools are as horrible as the page builder and I have to rely on customer service like I got yesterday....I'm in for a horrible experience.

Do you want a happy customer?

To which he replied:

I've been running this company for over 10 years an I learned a few things bout people  Can't satisfy everyone one  Your lucky I'm even responding after calling me a ****** (expletive deleted) I explained to you your options at this point pick one    I responded with, "I rest my case."

I then told him that I would include in my RipOff report that, in my opinion, frank jones of webmarketingtool.com is a theif and a liar. He requested that I also included "a** hole" (expletive deleted) so I agreed to include that.

In summary, my experience is that the web marketing tool is a bait and switch offering. They, in my opiinion, lie saying that the tool is  "powerful yet easy to use". Nothing could be further from the truth. It seems they offer software for a very low and attractive price that is designed to be extremely difficult to use so they can sell tech support credits.

As he said, people spend thousands of dollars getting their sites the way the want them.

Be warned, I believe this is a bait and switch scam with a low price to start then expensive upgrades. Also horrible customer service.
