We recently used Web Wise Media as a vendor to provide our clients with Email Marketing services.  Our agent was Dan Martin who seemed to be a very knowledgeable and moral person.  His pitch was that our clients would only pay for opened emails and not sent emails thus providing more value to the client and taking away one additional step towards a successful email campaign.  We were very excited to see the results.  Being in the marketing and lead generation industry ourselves we understood that there are no guarantees on the outcome of such marketing campaigns.  There is a noticeable difference between a campaign that just doesn't go well and one that looks like fraud.  After launching the campaign we reviewed the results and out of 170,000 opened emails only 2 people clicked on a link on the email to go through to a shopping cart.  This seemed very suspicious to us so we called Dan Martin and asked him why the numbers were so far off.  He said that their online tracking software was off and that there were probably more visitors than that but they just were not showing up on the tracking.  By this time our client is getting very jumpy and wanting to know what the deal is.  Dan Martin said he would redo the campaign.  The second go around seemed to be promising as there were on the second day 700 clicks going through to the shopping cart.  However our client called us up to let us know that not one purchase was made.  In summation we spent thousands of dollars of our clients money with Web Wise Media and they received nothing for it.

This was our mistake as a company we felt that Dan Martin being a little older and more mature would come through for us but it just goes to show you that good morals don't accumulate as you get older.

Thanks

LTC
