I received a letter from these people Dated November 17, 2009.  It stated that my credit card had been canceled.  It stated no reason and gave no cause.

I have attempted to contact them via phone to get a response, but they continue to stone-wall me with every attempt to collect information.

I understand the concept of providing service to whomever they deem fit, but I have good credit (bought a house in the last 6 months) have never been late on a payment, and usually carry no balance.  Now this corporation has decided to **** me and screw up my credit by closing my longest standing account.

If they didn't want my business, why would they have bought my credit card from Capital One years ago?

Do I have any recourse?
