Website Design Institute - Custom Pro Designs ripoff Badbusiness I have been totally frustrated and annoyed with the students, at this learning institution, with no satisfaction from the people who were supposedly running this organization. Tampa, Florida
In checking the dates of my records, I found a date going back to 07/14/04, however, I began dealing with the Webdesign Institute in June 2004.
This is a training institute for students in the practice of Web-Design, to teach and enhance their skills.
I am an Independent Distributor for the Herbalife company in the manufacture and distribution of health care and weight loss products nationwide and overseas.
I have found during my involvement with the design institute, I have been manipulated and ripped off for a job that is still now to this day, not completed!
I have invested time and money in the construction of this site, and have been manipulated for more money each time I called them for support.
I am a retired postal worker and have been since 2001. My reasons for retireing was partially attributed to me becoming ill and having to care for my elderly mother,who just passed on.
Through this process after retiring from the US Postal ser. I have been placed on SSI disability for my illness, and have permission to work from that office.
I had a little money saved up and thought I would begin a work at my home business, with Herbalife. I figured that advertising on the web would be my best means for promotion!
Since, I contracted the Website Design Institute, I have encountered problems with the students at that school. Needless, to say I have lost time and money.
The reasons I believe for this inadquacy of performance is that their students go unsupervised, and are only interested in acheivening goals for the purpose of being licensed.
In trying to contact the institute I encountered problems with various people. A (student) Mr. Juan Arriaga, who took on my project but is no longer with web-design.
Juan was preceeded by Armando Garcia who was put in Juan's former position. Armando, is supposedly a college graduate and has no area in making that known.
Mr. Armando Garcia is in charge of their operation and making a fine mess of things. This character, actually believes he knows what he is doing and leads what appears with a firm hand.
Through this 6 month process my information was mishandeled, misplaced and discarded, I know this by the students, or workers telling me that the information was never sent.
I have records to support when the infomation was sent and the dates the info was faxed to them. Yet, I encountered unprofessional attitudes from the students, or workers.
I have been made to feel that I was wrong, and that not being the situation at all. I was dealing with a change of hands from one student to another in that process my papers were misfiled.
I don't frown upon the students, but do blame the Web-design Institute for lack of supervision of their students. This is a learning institution for students who deal with live customers.
I do not comprehend the reasoning of management at that institution, these students are interested in learning it appears? But have no reguard for the customer investing money!
I have been totally frustrated and annoyed with the students, at this learning institution, with no satisfaction from the people who were supposedly running this organization.
In decribing myself, I can only say that I have given no description of my disability and the Web-design institute had no knowlege of this information neither.
I did not feel it necessary to disclose what my disability is! I am awaiting a liver transplant as a result of a damaged liver and undergoing severe stress and unmanagability.
I not only believe this is to say the least, "Bad Business" but it is a breach in the human condition. I have not as of yet, but will report this infraction to the better business bur.
I have lost time and money and have not even been blessed with one single costomer. I am disabled and unfortunately out of the work force and dependent on this business for income!
There is not much more to say about this establishment, except to say that if you are in the process of having a web-site designed, don't go to Webdesign Institute incompetent workers!

This order was placed on my WebSite www.lafaucidistributors.com
by a customer from Lawerence, Mass. and never mentioned to Herbalife, I did not have the order in stock.
Miva reports that the customer was billed for the order was charged $6.00 shipping costs for an order of the Herbal Aloa Everyday Soothing Hand & Body Lotion and $9.00 for the products.
Now,I have to order from MyHerbalife.com to make good for the order placed at my website for a customer order# 1003. Were you aware of that, I don't think so...? Do you care, I don't think so!
This is a further reflection of negligence on the part of Miva and the Custom Pro Design Institute. All I have to do is sit back and watch you build my case against the Web-Design Ins.
This calamity of business adds to further ruin the reputation of both your employer and the hosting company Miva. This will again be reported to badbusinessbureau.com Ripp-Off report!

I am unable to see what efforts you have made to promote my website, I understand that Miva your hosting co. represented by Mr. Chris Orsilas, has recorded several hundred hits to my website, how come I didn't receive one single customer to my site?
My site is "not" hooked up into My Mother copany Herbalife, as a Supervisor for herbalife I only own 50% of the sales I make the other 50% goes to Herbalife, the source! How can I order my customers products and how will my source Herbalife get paid; did anyone at Custom Pro Design think of that?
My site has now been completed by a designer in the St. Petersburg section of your state of Florida for 1/3 of the price you charged me for nothing but aggrevation and loss of time and money.
This single web-designer as I re-iterate completed my site, set up my credit car processing terminal and made it simple to understand in a 2 week period! My question to you, and your associates at your organization is why? Didn't anyone at your company handle things in the same manner? and why did it take more than 6 months to half-a*s complete a non workable website!
Your services have been overpaid and for nothing! I understand it, that it is my right as a fully paid customer to question and understand the work you have, or have not done to promote my site!
I suggest if you have a legal department, and don't suspect you do...that you show them this e-mail and ask them what they think? Nevertheless, I will see that justice find it's way!
I have written the editor and producer of badbusiness.com Rip-Off report and included a check to pay for their services in enlisting their help to bring the dead-beat Custom Pro Design to justice!
I will request this once, and one time only; that my money be refunded in full for the aggrevation, time and money you cost me. If this is not handeled properly, I will seek legal action for loss of income and cruel treatment of a disabeled person!

In re-construction of my site, I have found a web-designer,one person who reconstructed my site and added more features to make my site profitable; in less than 2 weeks!
This designer is from the St. Petersburg section of Florida, and has unraveled the confusion and mis-direction of Custom-Pro-Design and their worker from the Miva corp. Who caused me loss of time and income.
What is questioned with the students and staff at the Web-design institute is a serious ethical adjustment that needs to be made by the personnel at that institution.
The Web-design institute took my money and frustrated the heck out of me for a 6 month period, and at completion of their work they did not attract one single customer.
A single designer was more productive to my business design that all the personnel at the web-design institute. I have filled a rippoffrevenge report with the producer and editor of badbusinessrippoff.com My intention is to have my money refunded and have it noted that there is a bunch of idiots in charge of the Bad Business Website Design Institute!
If this is not resolved I will sue for damages!

January 4, 2005, sent various messages through telephone messages and e-mail, with no response! I am unable to conduct business and because of tne inefficency of managment personell at the "Website Design Istitute" I have to go to another design company to get my site repaired. This inefficency of the students and management at this training institute have caused me great "hardship" as I am not a well person and legally clasiffied as disabeled by my MD's and the SSI disability for people who can no longer function in a normal capacity. I am to say the least frustrated, debilitated and growing sicker as a result of this injustice. I have further found that dealing with this organization has displayed a reflection on the human condition, their moral insensability has negated my faith in humanity. I don't comprehend how people can be so overwelmed with their greed that there priorites become dissociated and cold to their fellow man. In dealing with this organization I have been manipulated, lied to, and taken to the cleaners financially. My disgust for this organization and the people employed there is dishartening and they will probably get away with this thievery, as I believe that is what society has come too.

Go to the library. Find books on web site design. Make your own site.
Go to the internet. Search for web site design. Make your own site.
Find a site you like and copy the page. Then go to view/source. There's the code that made the page. Take out their words and fill in yours. Instant web page. How hard is that?
If all of this fails, and you absolutely have to turn to outside help, at least have the good sense to pay when the design is finished and you're satisfied with it. Zero upfront.

To add to the ripoff website design contracted MIVA corporation to set up advertisement for my site. I have encountered several error messages and my site does not display properly.
At the direction of Armando Garcia person in charge of webdesign, I am unable to receive techinical support from MIVA to correct the problems I am having with my site.
Needless, to say I am losing more time and money and this organization is getting away with this ripoff, with no justice being enforced, again "Bad Business"!
I am at my wits end with this injustice, nad will do everyting in my power to put a halt to this criminal act. They are getting away with murder,and the shame is I'm on SSI disability!
