I purchased a piece of restaurant equipment from the online store. It arrived broken. I tried to get assistance from the customer service department and was basically ignored.

I put in a PayPal claim and they contacted me and said they wouldn't help me until I removed the claim. I reminded them that the purpose of the claim was to get their assistance and that it would be removed when the problem was solved in a satisfactory manner.

Finally, they put me in touch with the manufacturer of the product. I now have to send the equipment to the manufacturer and pay for the shipping so the manufacturer can determine if it is a "warranty" repair.

I won't do business with Webstaurant Store again. Taking a hands off approach when a customer receives a broken item is poor customer service.
