Weider Publications, Shape Magazine false advertising. sent in for free issue,cancelled subscrition several times yet received numerous bills and ultimately sent my name to a collection agency Internet Internet
This report is about the widley known Shape Magazine. earlier in the year I went on their website and clicked "free subscrption" which was one subcription, if not satisfied cancel subscription and keep the one free.
I received about three bills before I even received the issue and thought this was ridiculous and cancelled it, they replied and basically said that I was sent the issue, I could keep it, they would cancel me and I would no longer receive anymore bills; However I received a couple more when I e-mailed then again with the same reply of sorry for the inconvenience..
The last delinquent bill I received was in June. I e-mailed them again and got the same response. Just this month I received a letter from a collection agency stating that my name was reported to them by weider publications, Shape magazine for a subscription which I ordred that I never paid!
