Weight Watchers advertises free sign up for their online program, however it is not free. I had the program for 2 hours and sent in a cancellation and they refuse to give me a refund. it is difficult to use on the iPad , you have to download the app because the flash paler doesn't work on iPad. I was immediately. Disappointed and wanted a refund within a few hours. I sent in the request and they said in email response that I agreed to the terms and conditions of no refund of the $29.95 fee for the first month! I paid $58.95 for 3 months! They said I would be due back $7.95 if I cancelled by certain dates.

No where in their complicated fine print terms online does it say in bold letters you can't get a refund. Everyone gives refunds these days, how do these thieves get away with this?

I guess they have to pay for all the fancy actors they have promoting this worthless product . I have never had to pay for something I didn't receive in all my 63 years.!

Refund should be given if people try out the program for a few hours and decode it is not for them

What a Rip Off.. Buyer beware!

They did waive the set up fee for the promo period

I also signed up this month and have had zero issues with their program working - both online and in the weight tracking feature helping me lose weight.

As to the sign up fee, the promotion is that the set up fee is waived but you have to pay the monthly fee in advance for the first three months. It is $56.85 for the first three months and then $18.95 per month thereafter. The standard monthly plan is $48.90 for the first month and then $18.95 per month. So the promotion does represent a significant savings.

Now, if you had technical difficulty because you are using an ipad, then switch to your laptop for ease of entry. Could it be their mobile version is not up to speed? Sure. In that case, contact technical support.

IMO, signing up for 2 hours seems rather unrealistic to determine if the program works for you. Expecting a refund on the exact same date you signed up - highly unrealistic, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Contact someone in the morning to see what type of refund you can get. You are more likely to receive a better answer during the week.
