I am interested in weight watchers to help me lose weight and I like the on-line program. They have a three month special listed which is a little less that $60 for the three months. After reading here and on other complaint sites where members have had great difficulty in cancelling their membership; I have a solution. My bank offers a visa prepaid gift card,  (not reload-able). It costs $3.95 and you can put any amount on it up to $500.00.  I can buy one for $60.00 and use it to pay for the three months. Before the three months I'll contact weight watchers to cancel. There is no access to any of my bank accounts, and no name is given when you buy the card. If they try to charge me for more months beyond the three, well that will be denied.  I figure I only need about three months of weight loss assistance. Anyway I can visit the local weight watcher store and sit for free on a meeting if needed. I also plan to save and back-up and needed tools for the program.

This also works for all those items you see on TV for "free trials", when even if you cancel, they end up charging your credit cards.
