My husband and I were invited to the resort in Escondido CA to tour a timeshare and received a free gift.  We went there and after 7 hours walked out with our voucher for our cruise to Mexico. I sent in the cruise voucher as you have to do it within 45 days or its void.  I then received a letter from FastTrack Promotions stating I needed to send in 2 checks, 1 for $50 & 1 for $376 which is for fees and taxes etc. OK it wasn't free. On the letter it stated the issue date was 1/6/18 but the letter was dated 1/22/18.  It informed me to send in the money within 90 days and within 60 days of my tax refund. Which threw me off because our taxes would not be completed until April 11 2018 and we did not receive our refund until April 25. That is the date I sent in the money.  I received a letter of void notification from FastTrack because it was outside of the 90 days. I called FastTrack, they stated there was nothing they could do as they are only the vacation issuers, I would need to contact Welk Resort. So I did and received the "gifting" department and told the lady what happened and she informed me that if I had not claimed it within 45 days then they may be able to reissue it, but since I claimed in and failed to complete the reservation process within 90 days that there was nothing they could do.  Plus we cannot attend another 7 hour presentation at their resort for 1 year, oh d**n. I'm beyond disappointed with the whole process. The wording on their documents does not make sense and is confusing. Do not waste your time or money.
