My loved one checked into this facility in November for alcohol and drug problems.  At the time I spoke with a Dr. Robert Moran and explained the problems my loved ones problems and I also advised him that if at any time I became the enemy and my loved one began to blame me he was once again using.  During my loved ones stay at Wellington he was prescribed medications that were not needed keeping him high enough just to keep him in treatment. Suboxen when there was no opium problem.  Anti seizure meds when there is no history of seizure as well. When they allowed him to leave the facility to seek employment to transfer into their sober living facility he began to drink.  I called Wellington to report this but my loved one told them they were no longer allowed to speak to me.  My warnings had gone completely un-headed.  I told them he was bringing in alcohol and drinking and I was met with "we know how to handle these things."  My loved one knows how to beat them at their game and I had told them this from the beginning.  Once released into the sober living facility they allowed him to work in a restaurant that served alcohol.  They allowed him to go into an environment that was bound to explode.  And it did.  My loved one is now incarcerated in a Florida jail.  Where is Wellington now? They have billed and bilked my insurance company out of thousands and thousands of dollars.  They are a disgrace!

I encourage you to go to DCF in Florida and file a complaint so Wellington will be reviewed as I have done.  They are under license drug abuse treatment for this and will be reviewed.  Here is web site:  www.dcf.state.fl.us

You will make a difference as we are working to accomplish.
