Wellness Tools Bruce Gelerter no promised refund Colorado Springs Colorado
On January 22, 2008 I ordered a 'Dreammaker' lucid dreaming device from Bruce Gelerter through his website and paid via PayPal. I had problems getting the device to fit and work properly and after about 10 days, emailed Bruce requesting permission to return the item for a refund. He replied by email which I have copied here:
Alan,
Thanks for giving it a try. Some people have trouble with the mask moving. We are actually do a whole redesign on the mask which will incorporate the electronics inside the mask where you don't see it and the mask wraps around the side of your head so it doesn't move but is still comfortable.
Just send it with a note that has your name address and purchase date so I can process the refund. Send to:

Thanks,
Bruce Gelerter
I returned the item USPS Prority with Delivery Confirmation. According to the USPS, it was delivered on February 14, 2008. Mr Gelerter has not provided a refund to date (March 26, 2008), all phone numbers connected to his website are disconnected and he has not responded to any emails from me since the item's return.
Unfortunately, there seem to many such reports concerning Mr Gelerter on the internet. It seems he is intent on living up to that image.

After emailing Mr Gelerter one last time on March 26th, and informing him I felt I had no choice but to report him to my State's Attorney General, Mr Gelerter quickly responded by email to let me know he was refunding my purchase price of the returned merchandise.
