I financed an automobile in 2005 with Wells Fargo, most time I would sent extra and was noted that the extra should go towards my principal. To this day none of the extra money was adjusted to my principal. December 2008, I requested a copy of my payment and traction history and noticed that not a penny was adjusted to my account. I spoke to many customer reps over a period of a year but no one could give me a reason as to where the money went. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and tried to explain the situation. She stated just pay up up or you will be referred to the credit bureau immediately.She was very rude and unprofessional. The same year I received a letter stating that I was audited and owe an additional $175.00 with no account as to how I owe them extra money. I would like others to beware of Wells Fargo and to pay attention to each payment made to this company. Recently I called and ask for an address so I can file a complaint internally. I was told there no one you can write to and there's nothing I can do about it.
