First off, I have never missed a payment on my vehicle. I just started a new job, a good job, however, I only get paid once a month now. My payment was due on the 22nd of the month; I get paid on the 26th of every month now. On the 23rd I received a phone call from Wells Fargo asking if everything was alright and when they were going to receive their payment. I stated that I would pay them on the 26th and there would be no more problems after that. The lady on the phone said she could take a check now and hold it; I declined stating that I would be more comfortable paying by phone when I knew the money was in the account. That is when the conversation got ugly. She asked me why I was refusing to send payment right then and there and I (getting defensive) told her I did not trust a company to hold on to a check for three days, I did not run my finances like that. She told me if I would pay my bills on time I wouldn't have this problem. Needless to say I lost my mind! I told her I had not missed a payment on anything since I was 20 years old and I did not appreciate being talked to like the scum of the Earth. I have received no fewer than 15 phone calls in 5 days, I have started to refinace with my local credit union like I should have done 2 years ago when I got the car and Wells Fargo will never see another dime of my money. They are rediculous!
