After a fraudulent chargeback on a $2000 item, paypal put my balance in negative...I contacted my bank Wellsfargo to let them know TO NOT authorize any transaction unless i approve it...
THey told me : No problem: We will call you before each transaction...
THEY DIDN'T...
They let the credit card company TAKE money in my account without my approval and NOW I am waiting after one week for a refund...
I am gong to close the account now before they take more money...I feel betrayed and Wells Fargo DIDN'T protect me against that fiesco...I don't trust them at all...
They also didn't let me enter my account by phone, saying that i need a code...(Which code?)...

I feel that i am a victim of a fraud and no financial institution is on my side...they seem to be in harmony all of them getting along so well, taking money I don't have in the account since i took all my cash out...Negative balance now...My fault...I should have closed my account on the day of the chargeback...
I am on my own and nobody cares about my financial protection...Nightmare...

Well, that's a huge chargeback and you didn't really provide any details. Was it a claim of identity theft? Do you have any documentation to support your transaction? Did you respond to the notice of chargeback? In my experience, these are pretty easy to fight if you've got your paperwork in order. I think your bank is obligated to return those funds if you lose or fail to respond. They should have notified you as agreed (and they do suck for not doing that), but if you didn't fight it or you lost you were going to lose those funds, no matter what you told the bank to do.

Looking forward to some clarifying details.

on the web. The CEO of Wells Fargo appears towards the end of that 4 minute video.

You might want to mail him a copy of your Ripoff Report, so he knows what is going on, right? It's always best to go right to the top and alert the big boss when there might be fraud taking place.

Good luck to you.
