I currently use Wells Fargo but they have ripped off repeatedly and in every way possible. Why is it i pay a $3.00 a month service charge for one savings account and 0 for another with the same amounts in them both? Why did they give me the runaround when it came to covering an overdraft to a business account with these accounts, not once but numerous times? Why did they tell me I couldn't link the account in question?

Why do they charge so @#&* much to use the ATM machine to get some money out? Why don't they tell you when you have a card that's lost it's magnetic swipe that it will suck into the machine right when your about to have dinner? Why don't they cover a 69 friggin CENT overdraft, which happen to come in "a few days after i purchased the item at the Walgreens."

And WHY did they charge me almost $600 in interest fees to take out a secured loan on a $3000 deposit of my own cash, so I could work on establishing credit worthiness, and lock it up so the balance is not available for any emergencies the like ones mentioned above. (Thank god i paid that one up early and got out of it..)

With the overdrafts and all the weird insinous little fees they take on, I realized I could have taken a trip to Hawaii with all the money they stole over time, or gone to the dentist, or even...what a concept...PAID MY BILLS! I have a list from Hoovers of every top exec in the bank, and I'm going to go on a telephone spree tomorrow. I'm going to talk to EVERY d**n EXEC in that bank, including Mr. Chairman, President, and CEO: Richard M. (d**k) Kovacevich, age 58, $995,000 salary, $2,400,000 bonus...

I puke on your bonus!!

That would send a whole city to college you greedy $@#hole!

Watch out Wells!

Class action suit against this bank in California

#2Consumer Comment

Sat, March 08, 2003

Hey Jessica--

There is a class action suit against this bank, filed by the regulators in the state of California on behalf of over 15,000 California customers.

It is fairly recent, but I am not sure of the status of the case. File your complaint with Wells Fargo banking regulators (state and federal regulators such as the Office of Thrift Supervision or the banking regulating agencies) and also the Attorney General in the state of California.

I am also not sure of the nature of the suit, but if you read the reports on this site, you will see many similar complaints about this bank, so it is likely your issue is covered in the class action.

Good luck to you, hope the info was useful. Go get 'em!
