I Purchased a Truck in 2000 through Wells Fargo of 12,500.. My interest Rate was 14%.. A Wells Fargo Agent later contacted me with the claim that if I refinanced the truck my payment and interest rate would be lower.. Not true, My interest rate went up to 19% and my payment was only lower because the loan was stretched out further..

To make a long story short I fell behind in my payments and Wells Fargo filled for a Replevin in March of 2006. Yep, Six years.. you get the picture? I contacted the Wells Fargo Attorney to negotiate a payoff prior to court. He agreed to Accept full payment for the Loan on or before the court date. On the Court date I called the Attorney prior to court and paid off the truck in full..Two weeks later I was informed by Wells Fargo that I owed $600 in attorney fees and court costs....

I of course felt swindled three times by this bank..Wells Fargo sent the $600 to collections and refused to release my title claiming that I still owed on the Loan...In March of this year "2009" I recieved a letter from a collections agency offering to accept $272 as payoff for the $600 debt to Wells Fargo.. I requested this in writing and paid the debt.. They forwarded this information to Wells Fargo..It is now July 31 and I am still unable to abtain a Lein Release from Wells Fargo. Every Branch of the company gives me another branch and claims to have no record of the Loan ever existing...
