I've been experiencing many problems while trying to work with my mortgage company Wells Fargo. My husband passed away this October from battling colon cancer. He called Wells Fargo to inform them he will be passing away soon and to have his wife (me) take over the loan and to help me set up a payment plan as we fell behind two months because of his illness. They required me to fill out some paperwork and told me it would take up to 30 days to offer me any payment plan and to NOT send in any money until I get this notice. This took place in August 2007.

My husband passed away in October and I still got no notice in the mail. In the meantime I sent in some payment to get caught up, because sending nothing started to scare me. Well..in the meantime I called Wells Fargo several times and I seemed to get different answers from all the different operators. They kept on telling me to wait until I get this notice. It was three months after the initial inquiry by my husband on my behalf. When I called in November to inform them my husband passed and I still have no notice they then said everything is on hold until they get his death certificate and will. I sent that and THEN they sent me a letter stating "the will in null and void", "have a lawyer or court appoint you execuiter of his estate" and THEN we can deal with you.

I just did that and they still did NOT receive the letter they requested. As of today, I received an ACT 91 notice for Forclosure for NON PAYMENT. Can you believe that! They are telling me not to send anything. If I do not get this staright by next week I must call my laywer and have him deal with them. This company is lazy, unprofessional, unorganized and rude.

I will never used them again and will sell my home this Summer just to get rid of them.
