Wells Fargo WHAT DEPOSIT? Burleson Texas
I deposited a check & cash on 02.24.09 & it said on reciept that it was going to be credited on that date as well. Okay, so this morning my Business Debit card was denied! I logged into my account & there was no evidence of the deposit made the day earlier! I called the main Wells Fargo number and they asked if I was sure of my alleged deposit b/c they had nothing they demostrated such. They could only open a 'research' on it but I had to talk to branch to see if they would credit my account. When I finally reached the manager she said she would have to call me back b/c she had to research or look up the information. When she called back she said everything was credited back what had happened is that when entering the deposit (who know where?) they left a # out & the system rejected it! So if I hadn't called it would have just been left like that! Oh plus I never got an apology or anything from her or the teller, just you got a credit!

The fact that the deposit is credited to your LEDGER balance, does not mean that it is credited to your AVAILABLE balance. ATM deposits are almost universally delayed by a day, and it is disclosed both when you open your account, and at the ATM itself.
It's nice that you got this resolved, but I don't believe there was ever any error to begin with.

Geez...so a $8.00/hour teller made a data-entry error, but then they fixed all the amounts on your accounts and that's it? Wow, someone should be fired! Close down their store! What a rip off!!!
