Complaint Review: Wendy Bennet Partylite Consultant

A partylite party was held Nov. 16, 2003 at the home of Miss Stacy Strine in Massillon , Ohio. A girl whom I met through continuing Ed classes , and whom I had no reason to distrust.

I went to party ordered candles the amount $67.38. I wrote the check for $67.38 to Wendy Bennet, Partylite consultant.

Wendy Bennet I later found out to be Stacy Strine's cousin.

I had called Stacy several times to claim my candles. They ofcourse had not come in yet, so she said. I did ofcourse even wait 2 weeks after the party to even call because they said at the party approximately 2 weeks for delivery. So I continued to call and when she finally said ( around Jan.) they had come in , she said she had recieved a DUI and could not get them to me. I said that I would come and get them. I tried to contact her several times and never home.

I finally reached her Sat. Jan. 31, 2004 She said she would be there,I went to her apartment, knocked several times, no answer. I then telephoned her from my cell phone and her answering machine picked up. Left her a message saying I was there and I would appreciate if she or Wendy Bennet would get these to me Immedaitely! Ofcourse I have heard nothing. Neither Wendy Bennet or Stacy Strine tried to call me letting me know the status of my order and so on and so forth.I feel they should both be accountable for my $67.38. Especially Wendy Bennet as she cashed it.

I hope partylite restricts Wendy Bennet from using their company for fraudulent acts upon consumers. Also somewhere should be mentioned Stacy Strine as contributing to the fraud and theft from my account. I also hope to recieve my stolen funds of $67.38.
