Complaint Review: Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers Does Not Give Correct Change. BEWARE Westland, Michigan

They don't give the correct change back at the drive thru window. They shorted me ten dollars. I was supposed to get $13.13 as change but instead received $3.13. I did not realize I had gotten ripped off until I was far from the restaurant. If I had gone back in to complain, as a college student, they most likely wouldn't believe me. This happened on 12/10/2009 and I also filed a complaint with Corporate Headquarters. I can't afford to lose that much money when I go out to lunch, so I will never eat at a Wendys again.

...because it will turn you into a fat heifer...and possibly clog your arteries and/or damage your internal organs...

But to blame an entire company because some minimum wage employee made an error..is ludicrous. I can not believe the company is encouraging employees to short change you..your problem is with this employee or you goofed up. It does suck that you lost the money..but it has nothing to do with you being a college student. You have EVERY right to go back and complain..which you should have done right away if there was any chance of recovery due to error. If they came up over on the register..you very well would of had a chance to get your money back if it was an error on the cashiers part. I am SCARED as a citizen of this nation that a college student would report this here..and not handle this issue as it should have been

As far as your statement that you will never eat at a Wendys again..good for  you..have a carrot or make a salad..you will save money and not poison yourself and/or become obese.

You should have gone back to complain.

The register would have been closed and balanced. If it was $10.00 over you would have gotten your money back.  If it wasn't over, the employee on that register would not only be scared but his/her drawer would be watched very close forever. Or he/she would be removed from handling transactions.

No company can  give back $10 if the register is over and they dont know who to give it to.  They also cant fix employees short changing customers and pocketing the difference if the customer doesn't tell them it happened.
