Complaint Review: Wendy's

This is a pretty familiar fast food joint, that most people have eaten at. At what price though?

For me it was $140 after the cost of over priced, not so quick, disgusting food.

My husband and I went there with the hopes of hurrying home after. We spent an extra 15 minutes explaining our order because "No Mayo" translates to "Only/Extra Mayo" when ordering. After that the cashier filled my drink and gave it to someone else who hadn't even ordered yet. Keep in mind I was waiting in the exact same place when I ordered.

Following a brisk meal I go out to find my car is missing. It had been towed because I was accused of leaving it and going to class at 11pm. I had my receipt of course, but it was no match for the fact that my car was stolen. I was left with the flu in a pouring lightening storm. When the police were called they explained that I would have to fund my own private lawsuit against Wendys to retrieve my car, without paying the illegal towing fee. They admitted to the illegal towing of my car but determined it was out of their hands.
The towing company (Auto Citi Towing) of course is closed at 11pm, despite their car thefts. So the next morning we go to dispute it. They say if Wendys calls them they'll change it. So I speak to the manager and she confirms this so we drive back to Wendys. We walk in and ask someone who's in a different colored shirt (and not doing anything) if they're the manager. She says "Si" and looks at me. So I run through the entire story with her and she gives me an occasional "Si." So when I'm done I wait as she stares with a blank look. After asking 3 more times if she's the manager she runs away and brings back someone Caucasian. The manager takes my receipt in the back for 30 min and finally brings it back all covered in writing. She states that we were eating there too long and it's our own fault.

So this is the amazing service one can expect to receive from Wendys. We later found out from our lawyer that Wendys and Auto Citi Towing have a contract together. They call the towing company to take cars off of their property because of "violations" and they get a part of the towing profits.
