My fiance was hired at "Wentworth Marketing" in Atlanta, Georgia. First of all, the ads listed in the local paper stated that the positions is with a "Marketing" firm, lets be real, it's a glorified sales title. From day one the organization sounded squirrly and each day thereafter it got worse.

First of all, for a company's managers and vice presidents to tell their salary is just not right. They pump you up and ahve these ridiculous "pep rally's". They neglect to tell you that you do not get paid while in training, there are no benefits or car allowances adn the hours are stated to be 9-5.

A week later, they tell him there are mandatory road trips two weekends a month and he worked 11 hour days. Leaders and presidents called him throughout the evening on his personal time, sometimes at 11pm. It is the most backstabbing deceptive place I have ever encountered.

To top it off, they send my fiance out to a bad part of town to do a sales pitch. The business owner tells him to get the F- - - out, he apologizes and says "I am sorry to bother you, have a nice day". The owner follows my fiance outside and attacks him throwing him face down on the ground.

Obviously shaken, when my fiance returns to work, the president of wentworth Marketing says "Do not bring back negative energy back into the workplace" What kind of business is this? Then he proceeds to ask my fiance if he was being sarcastic to the man. Way to support your team. I can not believe people like this are in business and corporations actually use companies like this.

Their main client is Bellsouth and no time during their sales pitch do they inform clients that they are signing up for a 36 month contract, they hope clients do not ask. Very deceptive and most accurately described, a marketing cult.

I discourage anyone from wasting their time applying to any Cydcor Division. To be accosted while at your job then told you need to improve your attitude and not bring in negative energy, absolutely absurd. Oh, and better yet - the way they pay their employees, does not calculate, they will not pay until bellsouth pays them. So it hasbeen three weeks and he has not been paid.

He is quitting today and I am willing to bet, obtaining his check will be an act of god, as I am sure they have some loophole on paying people since it is "commission" only. I hope this company gets shut down, unfortunately the unemployment market in Atlant is rather high and desperate people are always in need for a job, so beware when you interview and ask a LOT of questions.

Kimberly,

I'm sorry to hear that happened to your husband. As a former employee of the same company, it pains me to hear another horror story in regards to this company. I don't know if I worked with your fiance considering he was in the B2B field and I was in the D2D (KSL Concepts) field. However, we both shared the same boss and dealt with a lot of the same crap.

As for you, Kenneth...did you REALLY quit??! How wonderful. You genuinely are one of the most hateful individuals I have run across, and the fact that you can't even admit to being yourself (afraid of paying the RipOff Report fees, Ken?). C'mon, Ken...admit the lie that is your life. You can't even afford voice mail at your home, and I'm willing to admit that the BMW is rented. Hey, I just spent $60 on some brand new tires for MY car! It may not be the $1200 you claim to have spent on your tires, but you can't have everything...can't wait to see your response, and hopefully your sexual harrassment charges didn't clear.

BTW, Kim...if you or your fiance ever feel like having a free lunch, drop a note about Wentworth at DSMAX The Aftermath and I'll reach you from there. You guys have struggled enough and I don't have too many people to swap war stories with.

First of all Ken, or whomever is posting, get your facts straight and learn about your company. Secondly, jealousy is not becoming, sorry you are not from the privledged and have a fabulous job. Maybe if one had a better education one could obtain a better job with a reputable company. This report was about WENTWORTH MARKETING, not a personal attack. The issue of being accosted was never discussed at work because he was told not to bring negative energy into the workplace. That aside, a report has been filed regarding the business in which the incident occurred so before you make your queeny remarks, get it straight!

Hmmm, did I hear you quit along with several others? Why would that be?

Maybe instead of listening to your "man".You should look alittle deeper and realize that he didnt want to work in the first place since you are the "Sugar MAMA". You yourself have fallen prey to a Sham of your own. Take a good look in the mirror and see the real person that is getting screwed!!

PS And If the events happened as he claims they happened I would think the Police would be involved, knowing his "whats in it for me Attitude".
