WENTWORTH MARKETING JOB SCAM, I WAS SET UP TP RECEIVE PAYMENTS FROM CUSTOMERS ripoff ATLANTA Georgia
I WAS SET UP TO RECEIVE PAYMETNS FROM CUSTOMERS. THE JOB SOUNDED LEGIT AND I WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY JOB SCAMS, ONLY THE ONES THAT ASK YOU FOR MONEY. THIS GUY WHO SAYS HIS NAME WAS JASON SMITH SENT ME A MONEY ORDER THROUGH THE MAIL. HE TOLD ME WHEN I RECEIVED TO MONEY ORDER CASH IT. AND THEN HE WILL GIVE ME INSTRUCTIONS BY EMAIL ONCE YOU GET THE MONEY ORDER.
WHEN I RECIEVED TO MONEY ORDER, I DID CASH IT. I DIDN'T TELL HIM THAT I HAD RECEIVED YET, BUT HE SENT ME AN EMAIL STATING TO WIRE THE MONEY TO ULKAINE. I WAS NOT SURE ABOUT WIRING MONEY TO AMOTHER COUNTRY AND TO SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW. I DID SOME RESEARCH ONLINE ABOUT WIRING MONEY.
THAT'S WHEN I KNEW THIS WAS PROBABLY A SCAM. HE KEPT CALLING ME ASKING ME IF I RECEIVED TO MONEY ORDER. I TOLD HIM THAT THIS IS PROBABLY A SCAM AND I HAVENT RECEIVED ANY MONEY ORDER. AFTER THAT I DIDNT THINK ANYTHING OF IT. AND LIKE AN COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER A GUY CALLED ME ON MY HOME PHONE I DIDNT KNOW HOW THIS GUY GOT MY NUMBER BUT IT WAS A DIIFRENT GUY THAT WAS PREVOIUS CALLIN ME.
HE TOLD ME THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEND HIM AN MERCHANDISE OFF EBAY, AND HE WANTS HIS MONEY BACK. I TOLD HIM I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT ANY MERDANDISE AND I NEVER SOLD ANYTHING OFF EBAY. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WILL CONTACT THE POLICE BECAUSE HE BELIVED ME AND THIS OTHER GUY FRAUED HIM. I STARTED CRYING AND TELLING THAT I DID RECIEVED A MONEY ORDER FOR A JOB BUT I DID NOT TALK TO YOU BY EMAIL FOR A MERDANISE YOU SAY YOU BOUGHT FROM ME. HE DIDNT BELIEVE ME.
I COULDNT BELIEVE THIS WAS HAPPENING TO ME. I NEVER KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. THE POLICE CAME TO MY HOUSE TO QUESTION ME AND I TOLD THEM THE TRUTH THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL INVESTIGATE. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO BUT I NOW KNOW TO NOT ACCEPT ANY JOBS ONLINE. IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE TO SAME THING PLEASE CONTACT ME. ALSO YOU ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT THESE PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR ADVICE ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM THE BEST WAY.

This was not Wentworth Marketing you were "working for" it was the Ukrainian or Russian Mob(Nigerians sometimes do this too) The way this scam worked in your case is that the scammer placed a fake item for sale on ebay using your name address and phone number so naturally the person who won sent the money order to you.
Fortunatly you did not send scammer any money and he bailled. Unfortuately the other victim the guy who won the auction wants his money back and rightfully so. Since you cashed the money order you should send his money back to him. You were lucky this scam can often cost the victims 1000s of dollars and sometimes cause them to be arrested and have serve jail time.
