Class Action Law Suit Against DAC Reporting by OOIDA

#6Consumer Suggestion

Mon, March 27, 2006

So you know, there is currently a Class Action Law Suit against DAC Services, brought by members of OOIDA- Owner Operators Independent Drivers Association,, located in Grain Valley Missouri. They also have other Law Suits against several other major motor carriers in the Trucking Industry as well !!! I'd suggest you go to their web site and view it and call them, and ask for a guy in business services adminstration by the name of Mr. Green. Also, if you stay driving, you should join this group, to have some protection for your self as a Trucker, and know your legal rights, and to keep abreast of current legal issues in the Trucking community,,, trust me, their worth belonging too !!

Use your old logs

#6UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sat, March 18, 2006

Hey if you worked that long For them you should have been mailed copies of your logs to the address you used to have your pay statements sent. Use your copy of your logs as proof of your employment. Hope you kept your card with all the phone numbers on it. You can call the logs department and have copies mailed or faxed.
Or call driver relations to haelp get your dac report corrected. If you do not get help there keep making calls higher up the ladder.
As in any situation do not bad mouth any one you speak with. You get more help with the correct attitude.

Hope this helps. Randy Ex Werner Trainer
