Complaint Review: Wes-T-Go Truck Stop Restaurant

This truck stop restaurant is a real ripoff because of the portions and quality of the food.

I stopped in and ordered two combo BBQ plates to go. Because my wife and I drive an 18 wheeler we had to get back on the road and did not start eating the food until we had gone about 20 miles from the restaurant.

When we opened the styrafome containers we got a big surprise. There were three BBQ ribs in each that must have come from an old bull or horse because they were well over an inch in diameter and about 7 inches long and had dry,tough,and the most tasteless meat on them that we had ever tried to eat, and we eat lots of BBQ so we know what we had here.

Also, there were two thin bacon size strips of beef brisket and one small piece of sausage about two inches long. Also included was a small container containing about 3 oz, or 2 tablespoons of Pinto Beans, and a small scoop of SPOILED Potato Salad.

These two "meals" cost a total of $15.57 and it was so bad that they could not be eaten. If you ever stop here for BBQ to go, check it BEFORE you leave.
