I worked for the Cannon Memorial YMCA for several years. While there I saw many people come and go. One person that is still there that shouldn't be is Brian Stegall. He is the complete opposite of everything the YMCA stands for. He lies to his employs, he stabs them in the back, he takes credit for everything they do while he does little to nothing and reaps the benefits.
He steals money from both the YMCA, specifically the Strong Kids Campaign, and the programs parents, by charging them for free field trips and then putting the money collected into his personal Petty Cash fund, he routinely lies to his staff and the parents, and he lies to his superiors.
On several occasions he has put childrens safety at risk even after being notified of the hazards by his employees. His theory is, "It is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission." There are many good people that work for the YMCA and the West Cabarrus Branch but he is not one of them. When I have children I would never send my child to any program run by him.
