Complaint Review: West Coast Ad Efx

I am an ex employee of West Coast Ad Efx.  I started in the Phoenix office selling these promotions to really nice salons and day spas when I was only 18 years old.  I made a lot of people happy with these certificates, as well as the salon/spa owners and there were never any fullfillment issues. I then moved to San Francisco to help an office out there and enjoyed the weather and the people and ended up moving there.  I sold thousands of these certificates and Ad Efx has refunded some, but not because of misrepresentation. The Company is real both the ad company and the salon/spas.  Anyone who takes the time to place a rediculous comment here is surely in my openion just lazy.  If you didnt want to pamper yourself you should not have bouth the certificate! I made about 50 thousand a year working for this company for about four years straight.  So anyone who has worked for the company and is placing outragous claims about it being a bad company then you just cant sell and its not anyones fault but urself! Get a regular nine to five. Anyways I appreciate what this company has done for me now I am very successful and still in advertising 100 percent commision, but in a different place. STILL REMEMBER THE MORNING MEETINGS (I USE TO RUN)

Why do people feel that they can hide behind silly screen names and make up all these BS claims? If you are so sure that you have been deceived then contact the appropiate authorities (BBB, Consumor Protection etc). Otherwise, all your claims are discounted since you don't have the guts, or the real truth, to actually post your names. C'mon, show us your not just an adefx competitor spreading rumors and lies to increase your own business. If you have been ripped off then scream it out loud but at least have the guts to post your real name. The people in the company do if and when they reply, and they seem to be asking anyone who has a beef to contact them so they can fix it. Will you do the same, Mr. Adefx is criminal?? PROVE IT!!

Jon ...it amazes me...you guys have spouted that company line for so long you actually believe it.......pathetic....why have you been in Ft Lauderdale?? that's Deans office? I always thought Dean was smarter than all you...George and Steve and you...that he would make some cash and leave Adefx to do something honest....something his kids can say they are proud of...something your kids cannot do.

even though it is 4 years ago ..I can say today..Jon in Ft Lauderdale in 2004 ? huh..where oh where is Dean oh no...and that is right at the time I stole your customer in Savannah...as I said even today...it is funny to watch this company operate...Jon and steve and dean and aaron and of course and last not at all george..they have done this for so long they actually buy their own bull..THEY really do now think they run a normal business..they actually believe it..it is very very funny..just sad to the poor fools that buy the certs..it is ALL just smoke and mirrors for a 50 dollar hair cut...that you would have paid for anyway..just not in advance and ALL the "other " stuff is just filler that you get ..hahah a basic manicure oh boy...except the salon does not get the 50$..they just supply the hair cut...adefx says ok keep the 50$ for traffic flow..but the flow sucks....sure I'll keep the 50$..suckers...1 born every minute and adefx is just waiting on the minutes...lol

The last time this happened to me, there was some sleaze putting flyers under the windshield wipers of people's cars advertising a BRAND NEW XXX-ADULT ENTERTAINMENT ETABLISHMENT CATERING TO ALL SORTS OF THINGS.

He wanted me to pay $50 up front for an exclusive private membership.

I told him that I didn't have the money up-front but could he give me a business card and I would call him later.

As I wondered to myself what in the world I did that this stranger dude thought I would be the type to frequent this kind of place, the guy just told me to call the number on the flyer and went on ---and it turned out to be a HUGE elaborate vice sting run by the local police department, cause I checked out the number before I even considered calling it and there was NO address.

In the case of the DAY SPA scam, there is NO vice scam although it seems to me like the BUNCO bunch should be called and this needs to be reported to your local police agency.

I would have asked this guy for a business card too ---BEFORE I WOULD HAVE EVER PUT MONEY UPFRONT FOR A PLACE THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHERE IT IS LOCATED OR EVEN KNOW THAT IT EXISTS!

IF he DID give me a business card, I would save it for evidence and I would see if I could find the location.

And then I would call the cops.

If I were you, I would still call the cops and try to get a license number on this joker's car.

This is a novel rip-off and a rather sad one to think that this economy has people hustling like rats to try to get enough money to live.

I have been blasting away at my old employer for a while here and I am sorry to say that as much as I hate to admit it..they really do have salons and it is 80% off..its real..that is not the problem with Adefx..sorry lady the rip off is too the people that think they work for a good company NOT that they do not really have coupons at a discount for spa/salons.....but saying what you are saying I think does not do the real problems justice people might think we are all full of it if we let you tell real crap...so sorry..but I know being approached by some numb nuts in a weird place to buy coupons to a spa far away..is messed up to say the least

but Adefx you are still a crooked company..George letterio the owner and big pres in Toronto did not think up this business..he ran an office for Promotional Industries Way back in the 80's ..he quit b/c he realized the owner paid them s**t and kept all the real cash..so he started Adefx so HE could do the ripping off.....

This complaint does not state any attempt to contact Ad Efx or an attempt to use the purchased certificate at the spa. The establishment mentioned is a 4 star Spa with a solid track record. We tried several phone calls and got through immediately (1 ring).
We question the validity of this complaint and fear it is a competitor attempting to harm our firm. We proudly stand behind our clients and our certificates, and we have contact information posted in numerous locations, yet we've no contact from this complaint. Please contact us at our published contact info. and we will resolve ANY situations, if given an opportunity.
