I hired WCI to put in Airkrete (foam insulation) above the ceilings of my old house. They pumped it in through a garden hose (which should have told me Airkrete was a bad idea, according to my sister). Then the ceilings started sagging and collapsing. Some of the fallen sheetrock had/has a thin layer of condensed and hardened Airkrete still clinging to it limpetlike.
I think even if mixed with the minimum amount of water possible for it, Airkrete is probably a bad thing, because you're putting a lot of water inside your ceiling cavity, or wall.
Eventually, WCI put fiberglass batts into the ceilings of two rooms, but I now think they should have left some space at the outside walls for ventilation. I asked them to use HD fiberglass, but it puffed out downwards considerably, and the sheetrock contractor said he had to push it to get it up high enough. It seems to insulate well, though.
