I was forced to deal with these criminals after my vehicle had been repossessed ( I was out of work 4 months and the bank refused to work with me. that's another ripoff report!), and to keep the job I had at the time I was management and required to have a vehicle. I looked at several vehicles on their lot and was told a bank would only approve me for an $8,000 loan with no co-signer. Fine. The only vehicle they had on the lot that would work for me was the pos I ended up getting stuck with.

It was supposed to be a sign and drive deal and the vehicle wasn't even ready to go when we got there, no paperwork was done, no inspection, nothing. I was assured everything would be done in under two hours and I'd be on my way. After sitting in their dealership from 9 am to 5 pm and missing my mother's 80th birthday party (I was told I couldn't leave because more paperwork would be coming and kept being told the vehicle was almost done), I drove off with my overpriced wreck.

I wasn't even 1/4 mile down the road when I noticed every light on the dash lit up and there was a horrible vibration. The dealership was closed, it was a Saturday, so I was stuck until  Monday. I had already exceded their 3 day/150 mile return policy by Monday, as the dealership was 40 miles one way from my house, I worked Sunday and Monday (37 miles one way from my house) and was basically stuck with it. I called that Monday to set up a time with their repair shop and took my vehicle up on the day I was supposed to. I had been told I would have a loaner car and could leave my vehicle there for a few days. That didn't happen. After being there 15 minbutes I was told my vehicle was ready and that the service department couldn't replicate and noises and vibrations the vehicle was making, and no lights were on. I was also told no codes came up on the computer.

The vibrations, squealing and lights coming on progressively worsened to the point I actually parked the vehicle and was afraid to drive it. Repeated calls to the dealership were ignored, attempts to schedule appointments to bring it back were put off until my warranty ran out. 10 months later I'm still stuck with this junk heap that now needs $3500 in repairs and I owe too much on it still to trade it in. I was going to lease a new vehicle from the local Ford dealership, but with my buyout my payment was going to be almost $600 a month, so I was forced to back out. After talking with several mechanics, I was told this vehicle should have NEVER left the lot with an inspection sticker. I have to basically rebuild everything underneath this vehicle, front to back. This includes (but isn't everything) the rack and pinion, power steering pump and all components, bearings, rotors, leaf springs, tires, all tie rods, brakes (entire brake assembly and pads), and who knows what else when they get everything torn appart to fix it.

I think West Herr should pay off my loan and take their piece of junk back!
