Complaint Review: West Oaks Auto

7/5/2012 I went to west oaks auto with the $1000 I was told by naida (the original person I spoke with) to bring. When I walked through the door Donny took over and said $2000 down. I said no and before I could get up and out the door he changed to the previously agreed $1000 but an extra $500 for taxes. When we went over the paper work I noticed the miles on the paper was at least 10,000 miles lower than the miles on the car. When I mentioned it he said it didn't matter.

Another thing I noticed was the difference of price on the buyers paper and the schedule payment paper. There is a difference of around $3000. The time is for 3 to 3 1/2 years but naida says they don't do more than two. I even have a voice recording of her saying this along with down payments being $1000. I have every text message from July 7 to last night. I offered to give back the car in exchange for partial refund but Donny would just skirt around it. He began to claim I owed $850 regardless of the fact the payments didn't start until  weeks after they took the car. He claimed the tax money was never paid even though I made the deposits at Wells Fargo bank.

I still have the car key, the tag that came with it, and the vin number so they can't claim to not know about it. I've been trying to get a copy of the contract since mine was in the car but Donny is acting like they don't have either copy. There's no way I can end up with the key if there was no contract.
