My wife and I requested seeing 2007 models. Sales people [2+] showed us various Kias, never stating year, which regretably I did not pick up. We decided on a EX model and paid $23,000. [with trade in]. Dealer insisted that we take a car now as their autos were all fully serviced, etc. A red Kia was driven outside the window of the office and I was asked if that was satisfactory. Color not being important I said OK. They accepted my personal check.

I was given a group of papers to sign, having the upper left corner clipped together.. The sales people kept talking and it appeared I was initialing basics. The next day I viewed the papers and noted that there was a 2006 typed in the upper left corner of paper. The papers did not mention any model [either LX or EX]. I went back to the dealer who contested I got what I contracted for. He gave me 4 free oil changes.

I pointed out that there was an Arbitration Agreement reference in the packet and I wished to enact same. The Manager said he would contact his lawyer to set it up, but added "I'll beat you - I'm smarter than you". He was correct, he was smarter than I.

Nothing happened subsequently. I tried to reach the Manager to no avail.
