i purchased a nissan xterra from this dealership and they were sweet as pie to get my money. 11 days later my truck began idling strangely at random times, dying at intersections and stop lights, and making a whirring metal to metal noise.

i called my salesperson who said to bring the truck in the next day and they would look at the truck for free and fix the problem for free. i took the truck in and i had stepped into the twilight zone. nobody remembered who i was, i was treated like a three year old helpless child, and was spoken to in an inhumane way. not to mention they lied to me about looking at it and fixing it for free-- when i got there they said they had no idea what i was talking about!

to make a REALLY long story short, it ended up they did a diagnostic test on it and claimed nothing was wrong at all, they had no idea why it was dying. i took the truck to a BrakeMasters who ran the same test and immediately found two codes come up- it needs a new knock sensor, which costs $500-700 to install!!!

i filed a BBB report, as well as one with Nissan USA, and their rebuttal to my story is a letter completely filled with LIES and more LIES. i am outraged, disgusted, and sure these slimy businessmen will get karmic retrobution in the end anyways, regardless of how my dispute turns out. mean people SUCK.

Did you buy this truck new or used? Did it come with a written warranty?
