i took my Mercury Mystique into WestWay Ford because the battery light was on and the battery wasn't charging. they came back and told me it would cost $600 to replace the battery and alternator and that the battery had a bad cell. after parting on $200 and taking the car home to put the alternator in myself (my mechanic budy helped). after all that was installed we noticed a blown fuse on the distribution panel. that was the cause of why the battery wasnt getting any power. so now i'm stuck with an alternator i cant return ($200) and a new battery from ford. ($224). Also, i had asked for an oil change and while in there to replace the alternator i noticed the oil filter had no been changed. i just got the car back from the shop 2 days ago. it had too many scratches and dust to have been changed 2 days ago.

dont ever go to Westway Ford to have your service done. They lied to me and they will lie to you. what it comes down to is they will charge you $600 to replace a fuse.
