WESTBORN CHRYSLER PLYMOUTH JEEP INC RIPOFF.. UNNECESSARY CAR REPAIRS INDUCING MORE CAR REPAIRS

AT THIS JOYOUS (AND COSTLY) TIME OF YEAR, I JUST RELIEVED MY BANK ACCOUNT OF $1200 DOLLARS TO A VERY REPUTABLE AUTOMOTIVE SHOP INSTEAD OF CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FOR MY WIFE AND CHILDREN.

THE REPAIRS BEING MADE ARE ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE REPAIRS MADE 14 MONTHS AGO BY A 5 STAR CHRYSLER/PLYMOUTH DEALER THAT SHOULD HAVE LASTED THE LONGEVITY OF THE VEHICLE.

IN FRONT OF ME I HAVE AN INVOICE FROM 8/28/00 FOR $1358.00 FOR A BAD HEAD GASKET, BAD EXHAUST MANIFOLD, O2 SENSOR, THERMOSTAT AND RELATED GASKETS.

MY PLYMOUTH VOYAGER(95) IS NOW GETTING OUTFITTED WITH AN ENTIRE NEW HEAD, WATER PUMP, AND RELATED GASKETS BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL HEAD GASKET WAS REPLACED WITHOUT THE INSPECTION OR MILLING OF THE HEAD THAT WAS FAULTY IN THE FIRST PLACE.

ALSO THE REPLACING OF THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD WAS EXPLAINED TO ME THAT IT WAS A COMMON OCCURANCE WITH A BAD HEAD GASKET.....(??????) THIS TACKED ON AN EXTRA $114.00 TO THE BILL.

AFTER THE FACT COMPLAINTS WERE NOT ADDRESSED, AND LETTERS TO CHRYSLER WERE UNANSWERED. ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR WHAT TO DO NEXT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
