Western Dental Messed up my teeth, rude, will not release x-rays, hung up on other dentist Fresno California
Went to dentist on June 14. Had a tooth that had broken and had lost part of the filling. They told me that I had to get my doctors ok for them to do anything. That was done with the stipulation that they take my blood pressure before anything was done.
I went back on June 16 to have the work done. They gave me lidocane to deaden it(3 shots), it didn't work. Right in the middle of pulling it I had an asthma attack and they had to stop. Then in about 10min they started again. I told them that I was still feeling the pain so they gave me another shot.
When they started to pull it again it broke off. I told them that I was still feeling pain and the dentist said "Are you feeling pressure and not pain". She gave me one more shot straight down in the roots. She told me that I can either pull the rest out with the pain or leave it in.
It was hurting so bad that I was holding on to the arms of the chair until my hands were almost white and I was crying. Since it broke off they had to dig it out. The dentist said that they can't give me more then 6 lidocane shots to deaden. They never bothered to take my blood pressure before, during or after. When they were done I sit on the side of the chair, my arms and legs were shaking so bad I couldn't stand up to walk. Then where the tooth was removed got infected, the tooth next to it was pushed towards my lip.
I went back in on June 21, saw another dentist, they put some medicine inside my gum and told me there was nothing wrong with the tooth that was pushed towards my lip since it wasn't loose. Then they said they wanted me to come back to have another tooth pulled. I told them no.
I still can't eat or brush my teeth on the side that the tooth was pulled, I have to use a clothe. It will be 2 months next week and it still isn't closed up. I have diabetes and I have to be careful Having the tooth pushed towards my lip makes me talk funny.
I went to another dentist and when they tried to get my x-rays or any information from Western Dental they refused and hung up on them.

I had to get a root canal when I was about 17.. So I went to Western Dental, in merced.
The guys doing that filing thing they do, which I can feel.. SO i tell the guy 'hey I can feel that' he then asked 'Well, do you want some tylenol?' I asked for another shot since i only had one, he refuesd.. and continues filing. Well the file broke off in my root and the dentist guy told me 'oh well its too deep for me to dig it out'
He covered it with a temp crown and sent me on my way.
Then I get a bill stating i have to pay 75.00 per month till the whateveramount.00 is paid off.
So I call and tell the lady what happend. She sent me some sort of appeal paperwork to fill out. Send that in, told them if you send me a bill again, Im going to sue you then you can pay ME.. Ive never heard back from them.... hmm...
Oh and that file thing? yeah... still in my mouth. Luckily enough my reg. dentist looked at it and the file is serving as the post.
so. Just appeal it. :-D good luck.

I was 19yrs old and had a toothache bad. I did not know what to do since my mom always handled my dental needs. So I called 1-800-Dental. The told me to call Western Dental since it is near my house. I made an appointment and went in. The dentist was so rough and all he was doing was cleaning my teeth and i was praying to god if i made it out alive i will forever keep my teeth clean and never go back to them again. i tell everyone who will listen do not go to western dental the are BUTCHERS!
