Complaint Review: Western Dental Palm Springs Ca.

Western Dental, Palm Springs, Ca. Front Office Staff I went to the dentist this morning to have my tooth checked, the crown fell off. They said they couldn't see me because it would take 48 hours for the insurance approval. I made the appointment on Monday, they had 48 hours to have the approval ready. I offered to pay with my credit card but they said they couldn't do that becasue the didn't know how to change it in the computer. I have never received such poor service. They need to hire people who know how to operate the computer and handle insurance company approvals. The fact that they didn't ask about my pain was beyond their ability. How does a dentist office operate like this?????? Palm Springs California

I went to the dentist to have my tooth checked, my crown fell off.  I was told they could not see me because I needed approval from my insurance, that takes 48 hours.  

I offered to pay with my credit card, they said they were unable to do that because they didn't know how to change from insurance paying to patient paying with credit card in the computer.

 I need to wait 48 hours and go back again.  How does a dentist office function when people do not know how to use the computer???????  I made the appointment two days prior to my appointment, why didn't they have the insurance approval ready????  No mention of my pain!!

 I am not a new patient to this office.
