Well...let me start off by saying I hired on with SMX that got bought out by Western Express. SMX was a great company. After the buy-out I stayed with Western Express for 3 years.  This company is ran by a bunch of people that only care about the bottom line. They do not give a hoot about there drivers. I have stuck with them after the pay-cuts. I have stuck with them after low miles 1800 and below. I stuck with them through several Driver Manager that either quit or got fired. I stay after switching to Electronic Logs. I stay out 4 to 5 to 6 weeks at a time most of that time sitting. I put up with over worked and under staff driver manager CSR office workers that treat drivers like we are beneath them. Or college students who just need a job.  Charging Drivers 500.00 for a accident at fault or not. Orientation Every week to fill the trucks after drivers quit cause turn over is so high. Charging drivers 1 dollar a mile if we dont follow there rout. I stuck with them hoping things would get better. I got sick while on home time and had to go to the Hospital. I had my wife call the company to let them know what was going on. While I was sick, these bastards came and picked up the truck. they didn't call me. they didn't warn me to get my stuff out the truck. nothing. a week later they gonna call me talking about how good of a driver I was and want me to come back to work. Kiss my ashe Western Express.
