You paid Western Union to send money to Canada and thats what they did, so where's the ripoff on their part?
Now, here are some questions for you:
Did you ENTER a lottery in Canada?!
Don't you think it is strange to pay taxes for lottery winnings out of your pocket?
Where did you get the money to pay these "taxes"? Hope it wasn't from a check your received and deposited to your bank account! If it was, you are in for BIG surprise when that check comes back as bad.

Where did you get the money to pay these "taxes"? Hope it wasn't from a check your received and deposited to your bank account! If it was, you are in for BIG surprise when that check comes back as bad.
