We bought a Smokey Mountain Westgate Resort and specifically told the saleslady and the manager that we wanted to actually use the Florida resorts. They assured me this would not be a problem. I called this week to schedule my week in Florida and was told it would be $130.00 to schedule my week in Florida and if I wanted to upgrade it would be $80.00 a night! I have paid all this money just to be told I am booking a hotel? That is what it boils down to. In checking on line my week is available...whats the difference. My family is very disappointed that we probably won't be able to spent Christmas in a warm climate..(we live in the mountains of NC) as we promised. We can't even get a cruise booked, which is what we made clear we wanted to do for Christmas in the first place.


Interval International did not even get our membership information until last week, we have been owners for a year and now they tell us we have to renew our membership and we haven't even been able to use it. Ice Rewards still does not have our information so we can use their services! The seriousness in this is this, most of the people they snag, do this because they want to give their family the best even though money may be tight. So after all the money we have paid....still I sit here in my home unable to do anything and cannot get a customer service rep from Gatlinburg to call me!!! Amy I need a phone call...... Don't do it..run far far away!!
