Randy,
When purchasing, it is recommended that our owners purchase as an investment in quality vacation time with their family and friends, where special moments are made and memories can be cherished. We do not make any promises on appreciation of this real estate, even though our resorts are in locations with very high appeal. The maintenance fees, much like the price of bread, will occasionally go up. However, if costs go down, then HOA fees may go down as well.
Your timeshare is deeded property and, as such, can be sold to others. We do not make any predictions on the value, as it will hold different value to different people. Other owners have sold theirs to friends or family, or have advertised it in the paper or online or have listed it with real estate companies who handle timeshare. We make no recommendations, but do caution our owners about paying anyone an upfront fee to sell it- this is not recommended.
We wish you the best. In the meantime, we would love to have you visit so that we may provide you with a quality vacation experience that exceeds your expectations.

Here's how my maintenance fees/taxes for my 4-bedroom unit have gone up:
2003 $699.00
2004 $783.24, an increase of $84.24
2005 $834.00, an increase of $50.76
2006 $894.00, an increase of $60.00
You do the math. Scary, huh?
