Westlake financial is the worst company out there.. It was my first time buying a car from anyone, The employees are very rude and belligernt. They do not care what you have to say.. My payment is due on the 22nd of every month of 425 dollars, I paid 300 on the 19th and called them on the 23rd to see if it was ok to pay the remaining balance of 125 dollars on the 1st.. The lady was not listening to what i had to say, She kept repeating that i need to pay it by the 30th or 31st before my car gets cut off and repo.. Well they cut it of on the 26th ( not the 30th or 31st) while i had my son in the hot car on the freeway. With no way to start the car and get home. So i tryed calling them and guess what they are closed for the holiday!!! Another incendent was i had already paid them the payment and they still cut off my car in the middle of the night when i was out of town.. They are liers and scams artists... Do not ever go to them

Okay it sounds like you are with a Sub-Prime lender not because of past credit mistakes but because you have yet to prove yourself worthy of credit for a car.   Unfortunately you are not starting off too good, and unless you learn a few things you are going to be in this "Sub-Prime" level for years to come.

Your monthly payment is for $425 and due on the 22nd.  Not only did you not make the required payment by the due date you called a day AFTER to ask if you could pay the rest even later.  It doesn't matter if you made a payment of $424 on the 19th, until you make the entire payment that is due they have the right(because you gave this to them when you made the agreement) to disable and then possibly repo your car.

Well they cut it of on the 26th ( not the 30th or 31st) while i had my son in the hot car on the freeway.
- I somehow think you are exaggerating/lying just a little.  These "cut-off" devices do not stop the car if it is running, it only keeps the car from starting.  Now, if it in fact it did get cut-off on the freeway, I am sure that there is some police/tow report or receipt because they would have had to get it off of the road.  How about posting that removing your personal information, or are you in fact lying about this?

They are liers and scams artists.

- When you got the car you made a legal agreement to pay $425 on the 22nd of each and every month for the terms of your loan.  You failed to do that.  So who is really the liar?

Just something to think about...

The payment is due on the due date. There are no exceptions.

"My payment is due on the 22nd of every month of 425 dollars, I paid 300"

You failed to honor the agreement. That's not a good lesson to teach your son. If you tell him it's the fault of the finance company he may also become a default borrower in the future.

"Another incendent was i had already paid them the payment and they still cut off my car"

How late was that payment?

Your car has a remote shutoff device due to your poor credit history. Not a scam.
