I am U.S. Air Force Veteran and I have already lost four years of my academic studies. I need your help for admission in the LVN program and the case is explained below.

I was a strong applicant to the LVN program at WestMed College. However, at the time of admission I was told that I need the following:

An aptitude test and the LVN pre-requirements:
Anatomy and Physiology (50 hours) $750.00
American Heart for HCP (10 hours) $135.00
Medical Terminology (50 hours) $750.00
Nutrition (30 hours) $550.00
Pharmacology (54 hours) $810.00

I took the aptitude test and received a score of 13. At that time Rhonda(WestMed Admission representative) said that the aptitude test score is not important. You must finish your pre-requirements with C or better.

After, spending about $3000.00 (non-refundable) on the pre-requirements I was called to a meeting on Jan. 20, 2005. I am informed that they selected the candidates needed for the February LVN Program.

Moreover, Rhonda(Admission representative) said that I need to strengthen my aptitude scores and I must reapply for the next term. If my aptitude score is low than why was I spending about $3000 of my hard earned money?

Previously, I heard rumors in pre-requirement classes that they are not accepting students for the LVN program because it's full. I telephoned the Admission rep. and was told that the rumors are false.

Later I applied for the student loan to LVN program through the bank. However, the bank needed the WestMed college information because this college was not on their lender's list. The (WestMed Financial representative) Stacey told me that I am not going to call your bank as I have completed the loan paperwork for the last selectee for LVN program.

I was shocked and I called the (Admission representative) Rhonda. She said that it is not true and wait till the meeting on January 20, 2005. I asked Rhonda(Admission representative) what is the purpose of the meeting and she said I cannot discuss that. I said could I speak to anyone who will discuss it?

Rhonda gave the email address of Veronica Shepardson (WestMed Administrative director) and I sent the e-mail requesting that I need the enrollment in the February LVN program.

Shepardson(Administrative director) replied saying that on January 20, 2005 we will discuss your status of enrollment in LVN program.

Today was January 20, 2005 and despite the fact that I received an A grade on pre-requirements I am rejected because of my low aptitude test scores.

Thus I feel that I have been robbed off $3000.00 for completing the pre-requirements of LVN program and given false assurances of admission.
