I purchased a CPO 2006 Altima 2.5S, I was told by the salesmen that the vehicle had never been in an accident and was not used as a loaner.

Of course we believed this since according to Nissan North America's CPO guidelines any vehicle that does not follow the guidelines is in-elligable to be in the CPO program.

Five days after purchasing the car I brought the remainder of my deposit in and told Stan Rosenblum (finance & insurance mngr) that our sales person had forgot to give us the Carfax report.

When he handed it to us, we were like "what the h""l is this, the car has been in an accident". Stanley looked a little shocked but said it was probably just a little fender bender. We were so taken aback that we were like ok and left.

After getting home and reading the report we found out that the car had originally been owned by a rental company. Which is another reason that this car is in-elligable to be sold as a CPO.

After the rental company owned it it was auctioned off. Well, that's scary (was it a salvaged vehicle)...

Also its quite apparent that the 142 point inspection was never done. 1" crack in windshield (that we didn't think anything of at the time and they were going to fix it), chip on left back tail light, door handle pc. missing on back door.

There were a few stains on the rear seat belt that I thought looked like blood but I was like no it can't be blood.... And it looked like someone threw up under the cup holders in the front.

So far that's all we found but these issues would all have been found during the 142pt. inspection and should have been repaired/reconditioned prior to being put on the lot.

I do want to sue them since I did not get what I paid for. And when I complained to the salesmen that they lied about the vehicle all he said was "don't worry if anything breaks your warranty will fix it".

Yea, the extended warranty that we purchased. When Nissan North America finds out about the vehicle than it will not be covered under the CPO program.
