I have a used volvo that I bought without warranty. I started having some mechanical problems on it, so I took it to Weston Volvo in Davie, Florida. They took a look at the care and they told me it would cost me $2000+ to fix it since I did not have a warranty on it. They also told me to buy a warranty and all future problems would be covered. So I decided to spend $2700 to get the warranty and have all future problems covered. Once they got my car and fixed it, they said the problem was a recall after all and it wouldn't have cost me anything.

I left thinking why did I spend so much money on a warranty since it was a recall that was covered by the manufacturer? But I also said to myself, at least any future problems would be covered. I started driving it and again had the same mechanical problems. Took it back to the dealer three times, missing time off work, for the same thing a recall part that needed to be replaced and covered by the manufacturer. This time the car ran smoothly and finnally everything is fine. Except one thing, my radio/cd player was working great until that last time I took it to the dealer.

When I got my car back, everything was fine, but I noticed my cd player was not working at all. So I took it back again and asked them "What happened to my radio/cd player?" They said they did not know. So I told them, well, since I spent $2700 on the warranty you made me get for nothing, I'd like to have my radio fixed. They said, "We are sorry for radios/audio equipment is not covered under the warranty, read your warranty manual". I told them I would except I didn't have it, you never sent it to me".

A week later, I received it in the mail, and yes it does say audio equipment is not covered. What bugs me the most is that I feel they purposely broke my audio equipment and now it is NOT covered. I've spent $2700 on a warranty they told to get. They knew audio was not covered, and did not inform me. My radio was working great until I left the car last time at this dealer. Why is my radio all of a sudden not working? Could it be they broke it on purpose? Everytime I went there, they were very rude to me, they always looked annoyed that I kept coming back so many times for a "recall" item they had to pay for, not me. And all of a sudden, my radio/cd player which worked excellent, does not work at all. I know complaining about a radio is a stupid thing, but I do think they purposely broke it and I want them to pay. They've said several times they will not, and now I have to spend more money (on top of the $2700 warranty) for fixing this. I don't think is fair. They should pay for this, its their fault, not mines.

If you EVER have to go to Weston Nissan/Volvo, DONT, They are the worse and they are RIPOFFS and CROOKS. Shame on them for taking advantage of us. :(
