Westside Car Wash Don't deliver services paid for. Very beligerent supervisor. Dover, Delaware
Today was my 4th trip to the car wash and each time I had ordered the top service and on each of the previous 3 visits, I was told the vehicle was finished when paid services were not performed. One of the premium services in the top of the line service is tire bright and I also paid $3.00 additional for exterior trim treatment. I watched my truck being put through and they took my front mats out for cleaning, but brass spray containers were on each side and weren't used on each side. They had the speed of the conveyor cranked up as it was a busy day.When I checked out, I asked the cashier about the wheel brite and she confirmed they should have used the spray, so she told the outside supervisor and I was told he would personally take care of it.
I watched my car the full time in the drying area and they did the tire dressing, window washing and the drying but someone other than the supervisor did a quick wipe of the rims. Next they took it to another area for the exterior trim treatment and the employee did a quick and not thorough wipe of my back bumper, but not my other black trim. When I inspected the wheel, there was still brake dust on all 4 wheels. I asked for a rag and when I was almost by the rags, he said he would do it and that's when the supervisor approached.
When he asked what the problem was and I told him the wheels hadn't been cleaned and they weren't sprayed when my truck went through. He told me that they had been sprayed, basically calling me a liar and he told me he had wiped the wheels down himself, which he hadn't. When I showed him the wheels, I made the mistake of saying it wasn't as good of a car wash as I was used to in Arizona, he got very beligerent and told me to get off his property and he wasn't going to clean the wheels and when I asked for a rag, he threatened to call the police and to never come back. I took pitures of all areas that were not cleaned or wiped down. Their customers are regularly being ripped off, especially if they pay for premium service!
